Bag Lunch Ministry

ABOUT

West Raleigh’s Bag Lunch Ministry provides bag lunches to community members in need on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Ministry volunteers take turns assembling and handing out bag lunches.

 

The Bag Lunch Ministry is currently providing 15-30 lunches per week to folks who come to the church door seeking help.

How You Can Help

  • Volunteers are always needed. We need help handing out lunches on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 11:30 to 12:30.  You can contact the church office or sign up online.

  • Monetary donations are welcome. We use these funds to purchase supplies for making the bags.

  • We are always in need of lunch supplies. Each lunch contains a sandwich (turkey or ham), fresh fruit (banana or orange), granola bar, crackers and bottled water.
