Sermon TalkBack
September 16, 12:30 – 1:30 PM in Room 100
Do you leave worship with more questions than answers? Do you wish that you had someone to talk to about what you were thinking when you heard the scripture… and then the preacher went in a very different direction? Perhaps the sermon resonated with you in a very personal way and you’d like to share your thoughts. All are invited to gather 15 minutes after the worship service ends to reflect together on the day’s text and sermon. With some questions to guide us, and Pastor Katherine right there with us, we will reflect on the sermon together. Grab a lunch from a local restaurant or bring a bag lunch. Meet in Room 100. If there is interest, we will set more Sermon TalkBack dates.

homeartCreate Art: Home
What are images that remind you of home? How would you express your vision of the concept of home in art? We hope that West Raleigh is a place of comfort and inclusive welcome – a place to belong. West Raleigh members and Presbyterian Campus Ministry students are invited to contribute to a collaborative artwork that honors PCM and will be displayed in the new study and meeting area, Room 100. Find supplies (canvas, brushes, mixing pallets, and paint) in the Student Lounge. Complete instructions will guide you.

Morning Silence
8:30 – 9:30 AM in the Parlor or Room 100.
We gather regularly on the first and third Wednesdays of each month to practice being still in the presence of God. The format is simple: a short reading invites us into two sessions of silence with a brief time for stretching in between.

Presbyterian Women Circles
Presbyterian Women is a wonderful way to develop strong, life-long relationships with women. PW Circles typically meet on the second Monday of the month. All women of the church are welcomed to join. Please contact Moderator Mary Ellen Taylor to join one!

The Fellowship Club
The Fellowship Club, a member of the Golden Year’s Association and sponsored by Raleigh Parks and Recreation, offers programs with guest speakers, activities, and trips for members age 50 or over. This group meets the second and fourth Tuesday of each month, September through May in the Fellowship Hall, at 10:00 a.m. Contact Nancy Rutledge for more information.

Yoga
Join us in the Fellowship Hall for a peaceful and mindful session of yoga every week at 9:30 AM. This class is switching days! Contact Sarah Peters for more information. Cost: $8 with a portion going to support WRPC missions.
