West Raleigh Presbyterian Church invites you to attend a service of Renewal & Revival at 4 p.m. Sunday May 19 featuring award-winning North Carolina gospel artist Sister Lena Mae Perry, with pianist Wilbur Tharp.
Rev. Dr. Byron Wade, Pastor of Davie Street Presbyterian Church, Raleigh, will offer a sermon. West Raleigh pastor Katherine Rick-Miller will take part in the service and welcome guests.
The event is at West Raleigh Presbyterian Church, 27 Horne Street, one block off of Hillsborough Street. It's free and open to the public.
Sister Perry is a founding member of the Branchettes. Since their founding in the Long Branch Disciple Church in Johnson County in the 1960’s. the Branchettes have sung in countless churches and community events, most recently touring Ireland. Sister Perry is a past recipient of the North Carolina Heritage Award.
